Helping Mobile Food Vendors Thrive
Helping Mobile Food Vendors Thrive
The Metroplex Food Truck Association (MFTA) is a member-based organization dedicated to supporting, promoting, and growing the mobile food industry of North Texas. Our association is funded through membership dues, program management fees, and consulting services, which enable us to carry out our advocacy efforts. We are the only organization in Texas focused solely on helping mobile food vendors thrive. Our existence depends on the continuous support of our dedicated members.
We collaborate with state legislators, agencies, and local governments to advocate for the mobile food industry in Texas. Our team actively works to address unreasonable regulations and high fees, while offering guidance to local governments on food truck vending rules and the creation of new food truck parks and destination zones.
Members have access to our exclusive Members Resources section, which provides comprehensive information on launching and successfully operating a food truck business in North Texas. Our resources have guided hundreds of new vendors through the start-up process.
We currently manage approximately 30 reliable, low-cost vending locations for our members and continuously work to expand this number. Locations we've established include key areas across North Texas, offering prime spots for food truck operations.
We offer consulting services for new vendors in the start-up phase, existing vendors dealing with regulatory issues, local governments looking to improve food truck regulations, and those interested in establishing food truck parks or commissary kitchens. Add membership button
